Recruiter
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to support hiring efforts for utility and union line worker roles. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting in skilled trades, construction, utilities, or energy sectors. This position will play a key role in identifying, attracting, and onboarding qualified line workers and related field personnel.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days onsite per week in the Pittsburgh area, with flexibility for remote work on other days.
Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruiting for utility and union positions, with a focus on line workers and field operations roles.

Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies.

Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and industry networks.

Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for technical skills, experience, and union background.

Coordinate interview logistics, feedback, and offers in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Support long-term workforce planning and talent pipeline development for utility operations.
Qualifications

4-5 years of recruiting experience, ideally within the utility, construction, or skilled trades industries.

Strong understanding of union hiring practices and workforce dynamics.

Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Must be local to Pittsburgh and available 2 days per week onsite.
