CMI Media Group, a leader in healthcare media for over 30 years, is seeking a dynamic Director, Market Intelligenceto join our innovative team.
As our Director, Market Intelligence, you will be a pivotal force in shaping our clients' understanding of their core audiences. You will lead the overall strategy, development, and execution for our Audience Intelligence teams, bridging the power of Social Intelligence and Market Intelligence to deliver meaningful and actionable data. This is a highly client-facing role where your strong communication skills will be essential in collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting compelling data narratives to executive-level colleagues.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and Innovate:Drive the strategic direction of our Market Intelligence teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and pushing boundaries to be the best in the market.
- Connect the Dots:Masterfully integrate insights from both Social Intelligence and Market Intelligence, determining the optimal use case for every dataset to answer critical business questions.
- Client Partnership:Serve as a trusted strategic partner to clients and internal teams, identifying Audience Intelligence solutions, developing research proposals, and leading approved projects.
- Storytelling with Data:Transform complex data into clear, compelling narratives that inform and optimize media and communication strategies, making recommendations that directly support marketing goals.
- Team Empowerment:Lead, mentor, and develop a team of talented analysts, fostering their professional growth in social listening, market research strategy, and execution.
- Thought Leadership:Stay ahead of marketplace shifts, develop insightful POVs, and introduce innovative ideas to enhance our offerings and internal systems.
- Process Excellence:Continuously refine processes, manage third-party partners, and ensure our team utilizes best-in-class tools to deliver high-quality, visually appealing deliverables.
What You Bring:
- 8-12 years of experience in research methodologies and tools (traditional market research and/or social listening).
- 3-5 years of experience successfully managing, leading, and growing accounts.
- Proven ability to manage and develop a team of 1-5+ individuals, fostering a positive and growth-oriented environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for presenting complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically about data and research methodologies.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry is preferred.
- Proficiency with tools such as Qualtrics, Tableau, SaS, and/or SPSS.
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in marketing, business, or a quantitative/analytical field.
- A natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced, solution-oriented environment, capable of making independent decisions and pushing boundaries.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $90,000 to $180,000. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
