ONExia a custom machine builder is seeking an Electrical Technician to join their team. This is a unique role assembling one-of-a-kind machinery and utilizes the latest in robots, sensors, vision systems and control technology. This role requires 1-5 yrs. of electrical and automation controls assembly experience working on industrial equipment.

• First shift and flexible: 4/10 hr. or 5/8 hr. M-F, OT available

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, troubleshooting, working with small revolving teams, has electronics experience specifically, control device assembly.

Electrical Technician Responsibilities:

• Use wiring diagrams and schematics to assemble a wide variety of cables and cable harnesses.
• Control Panel assembly, mounting, and wiring up devices such as power supplies, breakers, relays, switches, drives, PLCs.
• Execute professional level (neat and clean) machine wire and cable routing to a variety of sensors, motors, transformers, and other electro-mechanical devices.

Electrical Technician Qualifications:

• Electrical trade school or equivalent experience with controls and circuits
• 1-5 yrs. electrical and automation controls assembly, industrial machine support, or machine troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Ability to identify, assemble, mount and wire-up control devices including-power supplies, breakers, relays, switches, drives and PLCs.
• Must be able toread and understand schematics, wiring diagrams and assembly drawings.
• Ability to navigate 2D CAD 3D machine models a plus. (read only)
• MS office knowledge including Excel.
• Strong communicationandcommitment to quality,detail oriented,problem-solving skills.
• Must be open to potential 5-10% domestic travel.
