Part-Time Aftercare Teacher $20/hr
New Horizons Montessori Academy | Exton, PA
MondayFriday | 2:00 PM 5:30 PM | Now through August 31, with potential for long-term employment
Aftercare Teachers supervise and engage children during afternoon hours, ensuring a safe, caring, and relaxed environment. Activities are typically play-based and child-led. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain proper staff-to-student ratios
- Supervise and interact with children during play
- Assist infants/toddlers with hygiene and packing belongings
- Escort children to their parents at pickup and provide brief updates
- Close classrooms following end-of-day procedures
- Prioritize student safety and well-being
- Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM 5:30 PM
- $20.00 per hour
- 1+ years of childcare experience with children other than your own
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
- High School Diploma or GED
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Able to pass all required background checks: FBI fingerprinting, child abuse, criminal clearance
- Recent physical and TB tests
