Baking Shift Lead

Overview: Looking for outgoing, personable, and reliable people to lead our donut making and prep work at Gather Food Hall! Individual must be able to perform back of house prep work and front of house sales duties/customer service. Come be a part of our exciting new location Location: 3025 Market Street, Philadelphia PA 19104

Shift Details: 3-4 days a week 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Potential 5 days a week 5:00 AM - 10:00 AM. $18-$20 an hour plus tips.

Job Summary: Baking Shift Lead: We are looking for an indivual to lead our donut making and prep work in the mornings at Gather Food Hall. The position requires working indepently to make donuts and perform other prep work before the food hall opens at 8:00 AM and then taking customer orders and cooking food for those orders after the hall opens. The ideal candidate will be capable of preparing high-quality food items and providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced work environment while juggling competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare donuts and other food items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Monitor prepared food items and make items or identify items needing preparation to manager.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
• Interact with customers and take customer orders
• Fulfill customer orders
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient kitchen and front of house operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred.
• Ability to communicate with english speaking customers needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends

Compensation:

• $18 - $20 + tips
