Senior Accountant

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in King of Prussia, PA. Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support general accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. This role is responsible for preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, analyzing financial results, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, excellent analytical abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Complete balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
• Analyze financial results and investigate account variances
• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for financial reporting
• Assist with fixed assets, accruals, prepaid expenses, and other accounting functions
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting activities
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and U.S. GAAP
• Assist with external audits and provide required documentation
• Collaborate with Finance and operational teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• CPA certification or CPA candidate
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar
• Experience supporting audits and financial statement preparation
• Multi-entity or multi-currency accounting experience
