The Role

As a Landscape Supervisor, you are the bridge between our high standards and the daily execution in the field. You will lead a crew of technicians, ensuring that every property—from a small residential lawn to a large commercial complex—is treated with the meticulous detail our brand is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate a crew of 2–4 technicians. Ensure the team is operating efficiently and following SM Lawn Care’s safety and quality protocols.

• Quality Control: Conduct "site walks" to ensure mowing, edging, mulching, and lawn treatments meet our "immaculate" standards before the crew leaves the property.

• Operational Excellence: Coordinate daily schedules, manage equipment maintenance for the crew (Exmark/Walker mowers, Echo trimmers), and ensure materials (mulch, treatments) are ready for each job.

• Customer Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on-site. Address questions and upsell additional services (e.g., our 5-step treatment program or seasonal clean-ups) when appropriate.

• Field Execution: Lead by example. You will be hands-on with the crew, operating heavy machinery and performing advanced tasks like technical pruning or irrigation troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in professional landscaping, ideally in a leadership role.

• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of PA-specific turf management, weed/pest identification, and the safe operation of commercial-grade zero-turn mowers.

• License/Certification: Valid PA Driver’s License with a clean record (able to tow trailers). A PA Pesticide Applicator Certification is a major plus.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
