Job Title: Pre-K Counts Teacher
Start Date: August 2026/2027
Location: Nessa's Small Steps Child Care II LLC
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pre-K Counts Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic growth of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Conduct ongoing assessments of student development and progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Communicate regularly with families and caregivers
- Collaborate with staff and participate in professional development
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and program guidelines
Qualifications:
- PA teaching certification (preferred or required based on program)
- Experience working with preschool-aged children
- Strong classroom management and communication skills

- Supervise children during classroom, outdoor, and mealtime activities

- Follow all program policies and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children (preferred)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude
