Product Specialist
A Product Specialist is needed for an international biosciences company which supplies products for the life sciences industry in the Allentown, PA area. This role requires a bachelor's degree in an engineering field and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience to manage the configuration, documentation, and technical support of high-purity specialty gas and chemical delivery systems while driving cost and efficiency improvements. location: Allentown, Pennsylvania

salary: $28.51 - 38.13 per hour
work hours: 8am to 4pm
education: Bachelors responsibilities:
- Configure and process equipment orders for both standard and highly customized customer requirements.
- Comply with all safety requirements during the equipment configuration process.
- Create and maintain product documentation including bills of materials, specifications, and schematics.
- Ensure documentation is suitable for both manufacturing and customer use.
- Support the sales organization with scope and pricing guidelines for engineered-to-order equipment.
- Provide pricing guidelines for non-standard equipment configurations.
- Configure equipment software to align with mechanical specifications.
- Manage the integration of new products into the manufacturing environment.
- Provide technical support during the design and manufacturing phases to operations and production planning.
- Deliver technical support to the quality department during production.
- Develop and implement improvement plans for cost reduction.
- Implement manufacturing efficiency improvements.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Hold a degree in another related engineering field as an alternative.
- Have 1 or more years of experience with mechanical systems or electrical systems.
- Gain previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
