Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager will work with Activities Managers and Team Leads to plan, development and execute the overall operational training efforts for the department. They will also provide activity area operational coverage, and Manager on Duty (MOD) and other administrative duties as needed. The Asst. Manager will work with other departments to implement activities operating procedures; ensuring exceptional service/experience delivery, service recovery, and overall safe operation of activities while working in the operation.

Job Responsibilites:
- Hire Staff for activities, events and Guest Service
- Schedule staff to meet or exceed budgeted wage to revenue expectations
- Develop and implement guest service training and activities training
- Support an attraction or activity while performing all duties as required
- Fulfill job specific work requirements on a constant and consistent basis
- Follow all proper SOPs and standard protocols to ensure the highest level of safety
- Adhere to all of the safety policies to prioritize and ensure guest and staff safety on a constant basis
- Ensure the highest level of cleanliness and working conditions
- Provide a safe, fun, learning environment for guests and staff
- Actively mitigate any hazards that may come up or are seen
- Be actively involved in daily meetings so that the team can carry out our goals and objectives
- Work with other departments such as the Resort Company, base area operations, group sales and lifts
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Fluent in English
- 2+ Years of supervisory experience
- Experience guiding/leading groups
- Experience working outdoors
- Experience operating equipment such as hand tools, surface lifts, chain saws, harnesses, and climbing equipment
- Able to work early mornings/late evenings as needed
- Able to coach, train and develop employees

The expected pay range is $25.00/hr - $29.55/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
