Business Developer
- Position requires significant phone contact (outbound and inbound) with existing and future NewLane end users and applicants. When there are no inbound calls, the person in the role will be making outbound calls to follow up with end users on the marketing campaigns.
- Must fully understand and be able to confidently articulate to end users the benefits of leasing their equipment from NewLane. This requires a strong understanding of leasing and of NewLane's product offerings and competitive differentiators.
- Must have strong phone skills (i.e., friendly, confident, speak clearly, trustworthy, responsive)
- Must have strong email skills (writing clear, accurate and effective emails to end users as needed)
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must understand the NewLane underwriting and closing processes to make sure they can effectively handle many end user transactions at different stages in the process.
- Must proactively interact with Credit department colleagues (analysts and FCs) on new origination volume
- Will interact daily with the Marketing team to provide feedback on the campaigns and the end users that are responding
- Must interact with Sales Managers to transfer any new "Vendor" leads we obtain from doing the new transaction with the end user.
- Develop and maintain accurate data in client database
- Prepare credit package (financial support and other documentation as needed) for all contracts
- Achieve daily and monthly sales volume and account management quotas
- Existing telephonic sales experience required; comfortable making numerous outbound calls, and adept at handling large volumes of inbound calls
- End-User Driven Leasing & Lending Experience a plus
- Undergraduate Business Degree Preferred
- Excellent phone skills required
- Energetic, self-driven, results oriented with clear focus on high quality service and profitability
- Experience working within a corporate environment desired
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-disciplined and results driven
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication, telephone, email and negotiating skills
- Strong ability to quickly learn and retain financial product information
- Desire to learn to basic credit principles to better pre-screen applicants

$48,416.00 - $79,541.75 Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate's experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
