What You Will Do
· Regular auditing and maintenance of equipment
· Ensure proper inventory levels with cycle counts and set audit are accurate with the ERP system (GSS)
· Adhere to FDA guidelines while packaging implants and work with the Quality department regarding any regulatory changes
· Audit incoming sets to BOM (Bill of Materials), research and resolve any audit issues with management and customer service
· Receive and decontaminate sets coming back from the field
· Case / Surgical Support set up including dropping off and checking in set to hospitals prior to surgery and pickup sets after the surgery is complete
· Maintain accurate records and documentation of all transactions involving sets both incoming and outgoing
· Work with quality and customer service on any RMAs and customer complaints
· Receive all shipments into inspections and work with the Quality team to ensure items are to specification, and get items processed and on the shelf
· Pick replenishment orders, ship via FedEx
· Notify Customer Service and Purchasing of any backorders
· Work with Operations Manager, Purchasing team and Engineering on set builds
· Maintain working files on missing items and work with Purchasing to ensure items get delivered and placed back into the appropriate sets
· Responsible for maintaining all office and shipping supplies
· Create report to examine inventory trends with Operations Manager
· Assist Management on workflow improvements
Who You Are
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the medical implant field preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Background in medical manufacturing field preferred.
- Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Basic math skills are required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be proficient with basic ERP/MRP functions.
- Must have basic reasoning skills.
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
