Position
Summary:

The BSA& Fraud Specialist I supports the Bank's efforts to
maintain compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money
Laundering (AML) regulations, and other applicable laws. This role
performs a variety of monitoring, reporting, and review tasks to
ensure regulatory adherence and operational accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Review AML software-generated alerts (e.g., Verafin) and
assist with investigations as directed by the BSA Officer.
• Prepare and submit Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) in
accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct transaction research and input data for Enhanced
Due Diligence (EDD) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
reviews.
• Validate cash transactions, wire assignments, and monetary
instrument purchases flagged in Verafin reports.
• Review new account documentation for CIP compliance and
follow up on exceptions.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting, including CIP
validation, cash box audits, and general ledger over/short
reviews.
• Perform control reviews of reconcilements (e.g., DDA, SAV,
TD, IRA) and reconcile statements from ACBB, FHLB, and
other bank accounts.
• Support compliance with CRA, ECOA, and other regulatory
requirements.
• Coordinate tasks across departments to ensure smooth
information flow and timely resolution of compliance
matters.
• Respond to internal inquiries and provide data or
documentation as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics
skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills;
moderate computer skills; visual and auditory skills.
• Experience: 1–3 years of banking experience preferred
