Maintenance Technician

Full-Time | Up to $40.00 per hour (based on experience)

We are currently seeking skilled Maintenance Mechanics to join a fast-paced food processing operation. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure smooth production operations and minimal downtime.

Experience with pallet jack maintenance is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery and equipment for defects, wear, or malfunctions
• Troubleshoot and repair production and processing equipment
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions
• Perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment
• Maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, ammonia, and related systems
• Repair and install electrical components including breakers, switches, wiring, transformers, and receptacles
• Dismantle defective equipment and install repaired or replacement parts
• Clean and lubricate machinery components including shafts, bearings, and gears
• Repair and maintain structural components of equipment
• Operate welding or cutting equipment as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues
• Support daily operations involving material handling equipment

Qualifications

• Experience working in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or food processing environments
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills with automated equipment
• Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated
• Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Pallet jack maintenance experience preferred

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
• Frequent bending, kneeling, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Comfortable working around industrial machinery in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in refrigerated production areas maintained at approximately 32°F or below for extended periods
