Male Direct Care Worker

Eminence Home Care is looking for dedicated and compassionate Male Direct Care Workers to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity. You will assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, companionship, and various household tasks, ensuring they receive the highest quality of support. Your role as a caregiver will not only involve physical assistance but also emotional support, making a meaningful impact on the lives of those you serve. Key Responsibilities

• Assist male clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities.
• Help prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Monitor and document clients’ health and emotional status, reporting changes to appropriate personnel.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to create a safe and welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with other team members and professionals to implement care plans effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a direct care worker or in a caregiving role is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing excellent care.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team setting.
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
