  What You'll Do as a Bookkeeper:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Reconcile bank & credit card accounts monthly.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Oversee general ledgers and the chart of accounts.
• Generate financial reports such as balance sheets & income statements.
• Monitor financial data for accuracy & compliance with accounting standards.
• Help with tax filings and year-end closings alongside the accounting firm.
• Maintain organized financial records and assist with audit preparation.
• Coordinate as needed with external accountants or CPAs.
• Enjoy flexible weekday hours with an 8:00 AM start time.

About Our Ideal Bookkeeper:

• Experienced: 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, including A/P and A/R, general ledger management, reconciliations, journal entries, closings, and sales tax reporting
• Computer Skills: Proficient with QuickBooks Desktop (required), Microsoft Excel, and general computer applications
• Resourceful & Self-motivated: Takes initiative and solves problems independently
• Diligent & Conscientious: Maintains accuracy, consistency, and integrity in all financial tasks
• Collaborative Communicator: Works well with others, communicates clearly, and contributes to a team environment
