Overview

The RF Test Engineering Technician II operates and performs tests of electronic systems, maintains test equipment and systems, and provides guidance to less experienced test technicians.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain test equipment and equipment log books
• Utilize Oscilloscope, VNA and Signal/Spectrum Analyzer to measure performance of prototype units
• Analyze test results with Engineering team and suggest potential improvements to test designs or setups
• Assemble of modify prototype circuit boards as required
• RF circuit optimization & Tunning with lump elements
• Perform preventative maintenance of test equipment and systems
• Follow test processes and procedures, and setup test equipment for various tests of product
• Develop complex test processes for derivative hardware and simple new products
• Calibration and operation of test equipment for RF, electronic, and environmental tests
• Accurately record and store test measurements, data, and results
• Provide cross training to other staff in area of responsibility

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience with hand soldering, electronics and electrical systems, or electronics or technology related hobbies
• High School or GED

Additional Information

• This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
• Pay Range: $24.12 - $29.56 hourly. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
