Landscape Mowing Team Supervisor

As a Landscape Team Leader – Mowing Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that outdoor spaces are attractive, safe, and well-maintained. This position offers the opportunity to lead a crew, develop your leadership skills, and contribute to the overall success of the company. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee daily operations on client properties and help create beautiful, functional landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of 2-3 employees, delegating tasks and ensuring efficient workflow on assigned properties.
• Perform and oversee lawn care activities, including mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• Identify and address weed, pest, and disease issues, applying appropriate treatments and recommending preventive measures as needed.
• Operate and maintain landscape equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental guidelines, including proper use of chemicals and responsible waste disposal.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure expectations are met and issues are resolved promptly.
• Work collaboratively as part of a larger team, supporting company goals and upholding high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a DOT card (assistance provided during the DOT process).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mowing or landscape maintenance.
• Previous experience supervising or leading a team.
• Proficiency in operating landscape maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to McKees Rocks, PA 15136.
