LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking to hire an LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse .

$29.58 to $32.64 per hour based on skills and experience, shift diffs: $3 on evenings and $2 on nights.

• Full-Time Schedule
  • 2, 12 hour shifts 6:30pm - 7am and 2, 8 hour shifts 10:30pm-7am
  • 2, 12 hour shifts 6:30am, 7pm and 2, 8 hour shifts 6:30am - 3 pm
  • 5, 8 hour shifts 6:30am- 3pm
  • 5, 8 hour shifts 2:30pm-11pm
  • Set Rate Position available $41 per hour (please see separate ad for details)

LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited program of Licensed Practical Nursing.
• PA LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• IV Therapy Certification required.
• One year of experience in the geriatric field preferred.
• Skills to work effectively with the unique needs of the age group served.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Criminal background check required.

LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse Job Summary:

• Conduct resident rounds daily, reporting problems to nursing supervisor and initiating corrective action immediately.
• Observe residents under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
• Monitor residents’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts.
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
• Communicate with residents’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions.
