Now Hiring: Event set up Team Member Join the JDK Events Team!

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to roll up your sleeves in a fast-paced,

physicalrole that helps create unforgettable events? JDK is looking for motivated Event set up Team

Members to join our behind-the-scenes crew the backbone of our event magic.

What Youll Do:

As a Team Member, youll be responsible for the preparation, transportation, setup,

breakdown, and return of all event rental items making sure every detail is perfect for our

clients and event teams. Youll work with everything from furniture and ovens to dcor.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Safely load, transport, set up, and break down rental equipment at various event

Venues

Ensure inventory accuracy by matching items with rental orders and addressing

discrepancies on-site

Follow venue-specific protocols and site instructions

Keep equipment clean, functional, and properly stored

Operate box trucks, transit vans, and use lift gates, ratchet straps, dollies, and hand

trucks safely and efficiently

Follow rental diagrams and paperwork to ensure precise and complete setups

Communicate with the Operations & Logistics Manager regarding timelines,

issues, and equipment status

Assist with catering equipment testing (e.g., ovens, fryers, heaters).

Maintain a clean vehicle and organized warehouse space

Guide and support new team members as needed

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for 68 hour + shifts

Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (no major violations in last 3 years)

Reliable transportation and willingness to complete Driver Safety Training

Basic understanding of loading techniques, safety procedures, and equipment

Handling

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Comfortable with non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, split shifts, & holidays as needed)

Working set up knowledge and event logistics is a plus

Self-motivated, organized, and a true team player!
