CNC Machinist

Location: Montoursville, PA

Shift: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay: $18-$24/hour

Job Description

We're seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes in a family-owned machine shop. This role involves machining precision parts, making program adjustments, and ensuring quality production.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Edit and troubleshoot CNC programs using G & M code.
• Adjust tooling, offsets, feeds, and speeds.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications

• CNC machining experience required.
• Experience with CNC mill and lathe setup.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of G & M code programming.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montoursville, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
