Job Title: Accounting Administrator (Accounts Payable)
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Accounting Administrator to join our client to support accurate and efficient accounts payable operations and strengthen overall financial processes. This hybrid, contract to hire opportunity is based in Bensalem, PA and offers a blend of in office collaboration and remote flexibility. In this role, you will help ensure timely vendor payments, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with reconciliation efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career professional to build foundational accounting experience in a structured environment.
Compensation:
$20 to $22 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Administrator:
• Manage the full invoice lifecycle including review, coding, matching, and entry while ensuring accuracy across vendor accounts
• Support reconciliation activities by verifying transactions, comparing system reports, and maintaining balanced records
• Coordinate vendor payments by monitoring due dates, identifying discount opportunities, and preparing payment documentation
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, purchase orders, pricing, and receiving issues while maintaining clear records
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to address payment inquiries, verify account details, and maintain updated documentation
Qualifications and Skills for the Accounting Administrator:
• An Associates degree in Accounting or a related field, or comparable education and experience with up to one year of relevant exposure
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced setting
• Effective communication skills with a collaborative approach to working across departments and with external contacts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications along with strong data entry accuracy and general technical aptitude
• Ability to identify issues within daily processes and contribute practical solutions while maintaining reliability and consistency
