Mobile Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Mobile Developer for a Contract with a client in Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates must have strong hands‑on expertise in Ionic/Angular, Cordova, and managing native/hybrid plugins to ensure smooth app performance.

Rate Range: $75/hour to $84/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Mobile Developer job responsibilities include:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance hybrid mobile applications using Ionic, Angular, Cordova, and associated native/hybrid plugins.

• Review developer code, manage repositories (Bitbucket/Git), and ensure high‑quality code integration and version control practices.

• Publish Android and iOS applications to app stores and internal testing environments, ensuring compliance with platform guidelines.

• Identify, resolve, and implement fixes for security vulnerabilities while supporting debugging using SQL, Dynatrace, and Log Trace across PROD/QA environments.

• Work with IBM Persistent Systems to manage and deploy adapters supporting backend API communication and downstream services.

• Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth functionality, performance optimization, and seamless integration of REST/SOAP APIs, authentication mechanisms, and analytics tools.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands‑on experience).

• 8–10 years of experience in mobile application development, with strong exposure to hybrid frameworks and enterprise environments.

• Proven expertise in Ionic, Angular, Cordova, and managing native/hybrid plugins, along with experience publishing apps to Android and iOS stores.

• Strong background in debugging and performance monitoring using SQL, Dynatrace, Log Trace, and experience integrating REST/SOAP APIs and backend adapters (e.g., IBM MobileFirst).

Pay Details: $75.00 to $84.00 per hour
