JOB TITLE: TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST

JOB LOCATION: Carnegie, PA with travel to Lewistown, PA area twice a month or more as needed

JOB STATUS: FULL-TIME

About the Role:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in the Health Care and Social Assistance industry by identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the organization's staffing needs. This position is responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies that align with the company's goals and values. The specialist will collaborate with hiring managers to understand their specific needs and create job descriptions that accurately reflect the roles. Additionally, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the entire recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and facilitating the onboarding process. Ultimately, the success of this role directly impacts the quality of care and services provided by the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in the health care sector.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR) or Talent Acquisition.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
  • Knowledge of health care industry trends and workforce challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create accurate job descriptions.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit for the organization.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.

Skills:

The required skills for this role include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, which are essential for building relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike. Organizational skills are crucial for managing multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and ensuring timely follow-ups. Analytical skills will be utilized to assess candidate qualifications and make data-driven hiring decisions. Preferred skills, such as familiarity with HR software, will enhance efficiency in tracking applicants and managing recruitment workflows. Overall, a combination of these skills will enable the Talent Acquisition Specialist to effectively contribute to the organization's mission of providing high-quality health care services.
