Responsibilities for an ADON with Phoebe Berks:

Responsible for assisting the Director, Nursing Services in various administrative tasks; implementing strategies to achieve goals, complying with operating policies and procedures as well as outside regulatory requirements; communicating with appropriate personnel; providing periodic reports. In addition to the ADON role, this position will also serve as the Infection Prevention Nurse. Candidates must currently hold Infection Prevention certification or be willing to obtain certification within three months of their hire date.

Requirements for an ADON with Phoebe Berks:

1. The ability to deliver excellent customer service to all residents, families, and coworkers.
2. Graduate of an approved school of nursing; current Pennsylvania license to practice as a Registered Nurse, certificate in CPR.
3. Minimum three (3) years’ supervisory experience in long-term care nursing.
