Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and collaborative Lead Interior Designer to join our

team. This role is ideal for a design professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented

environment and is excited to lead projects from concept through completion.

You will play a key role in shaping the design vision for high-end residential projects while also

contributing to boutique commercial work. As a leader within the design team, you will mentor

  • Oversee material selections, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings
  • Produce and review drawings, presentations, and specifications
  • Guide clients through a structured, organized design process
  • Mentor and support junior designers, fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and site visits
  • Ensure designs are executed accurately and maintain design intent throughout construction

Qualifications

  • Strong portfolio showcasing high-end residential work (boutique commercial a plus)
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar. (Lumion is plus)
  • Exceptional eye for detail, materials, and spatial planning
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for teamwork and problem-solving

What We’re Looking For:

  • A dynamic and passionate designer who takes pride in their work and is committed to delivering thoughtful, high-quality design solutions.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive, high-performing environment and actively contributes to a positive workplace culture.
  • A growth-oriented professional who embraces constructive feedback, values open dialogue, and sees organizational evolution as an opportunity for both personal and team development.
  • A designer who balances creativity with real-world construction constraints, ensuring that beautiful ideas translate seamlessly into buildable solutions.
  • A natural leader who can inspire confidence in both clients and team members, guiding projects with clarity, empathy, and professionalism.
  • An adaptable and organized individual who is comfortable working within evolving processes and systems, and who contributes to continuous improvement across the design and production teams.

Why Join Marvista Design + Build

  • Work in a collaborative, under-one-roof environment with architecture and construction teams
  • Be part of a dynamic and growing company with exciting residential and boutique commercial projects.
  • A great workplace culture that values teamwork, creativity, and professional growth.
