Job Summary:

We're looking for a highly capable Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java and Angular to join a fast-paced engineering team supporting strategic initiatives within Financial Services . This role offers the opportunity to work on both new development and critical Angular migration efforts as the team moves from Angular 6 to Angular 17/18.

You'll be supporting 125+ Git projects , delivering innovative solutions, and helping drive technical excellence across a distributed platform. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys being challenged, and can comfortably shift between backend-heavy development (60%) and front-end work (40%).

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive design and development of scalable, enterprise-grade applications using Java (back-end) and Angular (front-end)
• Participate in Angular migration efforts , helping refactor and transition existing applications from Angular 6 to Angular 17/18
• Deliver new features and contribute to new development initiatives on the roadmap
• Debug complex systems, analyze issues, and implement fixes independently
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other engineers to present and propose viable solutions— strong communication and presentation skills are a must
• Support a growing engineering team by mentoring junior developers and helping others come up to speed
• Ensure application performance and reliability through testing, peer reviews, and deployment best practices
• Work in a structured Agile environment, contributing to sprints, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
• Utilize tools like Jira , Git , and performance monitoring (e.g., JMeter )

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7-8 years of experience as a full stack developer in enterprise environments
• Strong Java development skills, with deep back-end systems experience
• Solid front-end experience with Angular , ideally comfortable working in Angular 17 or higher
• Experience with Angular migration —from legacy versions (6+) to modern frameworks (17/18)
• Proficient in SQL and capable of writing complex queries for data validation and debugging
• Able to confidently present solutions and contribute in technical discussions
• Strong debugging skills and experience supporting production applications
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps tools (Jira, Git, CI/CD)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Financial services or FinTech background
• Experience with large codebase migrations and modernization efforts
• Familiarity with Kafka , Snowflake , or other integration/data tools
• Strong understanding of application security protocols
• Experience mentoring engineers or working in a team-lead capacity
• Strong attention to detail with a “go-getter” attitude
