Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. You will be the primary operator of our high-speed packaging equipment, specifically the Ishida 24-head scale and Triangle vertical form fill and seal (VFFS) bagger. You are responsible for ensuring every package meets our weight, seal, and quality standards while maintaining maximum efficiency on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Expertly operate, monitor, and adjust an Ishida 24-head scale and Triangle vertical bagger to maintain continuous production.
• Precision Setup: Perform equipment setups, film changes, and program selections to ensure accurate weights and high-quality seals.
• Quality Support: Conduct regular inspections of bag integrity and weight accuracy to minimize waste and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve minor mechanical or software issues on the HMI interfaces to keep the line running smoothly.
• Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a clean work area in accordance with FDA Food Safety standards and company safety protocols.
• Qualifications
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year operating high-speed packaging or industrial machinery (Ishida or Triangle experience preferred).
• Technical Skills: Detail-oriented, strong mechanical aptitude, meticulous focus on weight accuracy, and reliability.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 95 lbs and work comfortably in cold storage environments (38–40&degree;F).
• Communication: Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking) with basic computer proficiency for production logging.
• Adaptability: Proven ability to learn quickly and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic production setting.

Basic Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Full availability for weekends and holidays.
