Contract to Hire

Working with a client seeking a dedicated and experienced Bank Teller to join their team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a bank teller or in cash handling roles such as retail or customer service. As a Bank Teller, you are responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately, and ensuring the security of financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with their banking needs in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, and other banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, checks, and other financial instruments with a high level of accuracy.
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer daily.
• Provide information and assistance regarding bank products and services.
• Identify and address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
• Adhere to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote and cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs.
• Assist in opening and closing the branch as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a bank teller or in cash handling roles (retail, customer service) preferred.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency with computers and banking software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of customer information.
