As a Service Advisor at C. Harper Chevy East, you will be the bridge between our customers and our service department, ensuring that each customer receives top-notch service from start to finish.
- Customer Interaction: Meet with customers to understand their vehicle service and repair needs, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Customer Satisfaction: Build strong customer relationships by delivering exceptional service, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Quality Control: Oversee the quality control process for each vehicle, ensuring that repairs and services meet the highest standards of excellence.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates on the progress of their vehicle’s service and addressing any questions they may have.
- Sales & Promotions: Maximize sales opportunities by promoting additional services and retail promotions, contributing to increased profitability.
- Technician Oversight: Supervise technicians, ensuring efficient time management, accurate parts ordering, and timely job completion.
- Standard Operating Procedures: Participate in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures to enhance service efficiency and consistency.
- Professional Image: Uphold the company’s standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, and customer service.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Driver’s License: A valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Accredited Training: Completion of accredited training in service advisor skills, customer satisfaction, and quality control.
- Experience: Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, with a deep understanding of automotive service processes and customer service excellence.
- Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently, with strong communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in the use of computers and business machines, with the ability to multitask and manage interruptions effectively.
- Customer Focus: A genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service and building long-term customer relationships.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
