Radiology/X Ray Tech

Location: Erie, PA, 16550

Duration: 12-week contract

Shift: 8-hr Variable shift

Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $2160 $2320 (Based on experience, Negotiable)

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations (X-rays) accurately and efficiently according to physician orders and department protocols.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes clearly, and ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging.
• Position patients and equipment appropriately to obtain the best possible images.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, adhering to safety standards and infection control protocols.
• Review images for clarity and quality, repeating procedures as necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Comply with HIPAA and other regulatory standards regarding patient privacy and confidentiality.

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or equivalent certification required.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Radiology/X-Ray Technologist.
• Knowledge of radiographic techniques, anatomy, and patient care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
