**The Role**
Lumen Technologies is seeking a Senior Lead Business Solutions Architect who will drive the design and delivery of data-driven solutions across our core business platforms. In this role, you will blend deep data architecture expertise with broad knowledge of enterprise systems to solve complex business problems. You'll serve as a bridge between business objectives and technology - architecting solutions and generating proof of concepts that leverage tools like Databricks, Python, and AI "Genies" (Databricks GenAI assistants) for advanced analytics.
**The Main Responsibilities**
+ Integrate AI "Genies" for insights - Utilize Databricks AI Genies (and similar GenAI tools) to enable natural-language business querying and rapid insights generation
+ Leverage Databricks Lakehouse and Delta Lake capabilities for unified data architecture. Use Python and SQL to develop data transformations, custom analytics, and process automations
+ Design scalable data models and pipelines, especially on Databricks, to support analytics and business intelligence needs
+ Serve as the subject matter expert linking Salesforce CRM and ServiceNow workflows with internal tool
+ Partner with business stakeholders across departments (e.g. Operations, Product, Sales, Finance) to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
**What We Look For in a Candidate**
+ Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. (Master's degree is a plus.) 8+ years of experience in business systems analysis, data analytics/engineering, or solution architecture roles, with a track record of increasing responsibility. Prior experience in telecommunications or high-tech industries is highly desirable for understanding Lumen's context
+ Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar big data platforms (Spark, Hadoop) for building data pipelines and analytics solutions. Strong SQL skills and experience designing data models for large-scale analytic
+ Advanced proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation scripting, and possibly developing API integrations. Familiarity with software development best practices (version control, CI/CD
+ Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and practical experience applying them
+ Deep working knowledge of Salesforce CRM (Sales/Service Cloud)
**Compensation**
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors

$129,639 - $172,852 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$136,121 - $181,494 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$142,603 - $190,137 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA
