Shipping Coordinator

: Overview: MTF Biologics processes tissue grafts from human donors that are used in a growing array of clinical applications - positively affecting lives across the globe. As a global nonprofit organization that saves and heals lives by honoring donated gifts and serving patients, we collaborate with the medical, scientific, as well as organ and tissue donation communities. Our goal is simple-do what's right for patients, surgeons, tissue donors, and their families through our guiding principles. Picks/sorts tissue, checks and ships orders ensuring accuracy of contents and delivery of each order. Works in ISO, AATB and FDA regulated environment. Monday-Friday 9:45am-5:45pm Responsibilities:

• Accurately picks tissue and ships all sales orders.
• Inspects outgoing packages for accuracy of contents.
• Maintains the order of all warehouse shelves and freezers.
• Ships to outside distributors.
• Assembles shipping boxes and maintains the shipping supply inventory.
• Able to work with FedEx equipment and run daily reports
• Sorts frozen tissue on a daily basis.
• Assists other departments with their shipping needs.
• Able to work in Master Control system to read and understand all job related SOP's.
• Works in accordance with all ISO, AATB and FDA regulations.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Edison/Jessup/Olyphant

• Assists the Inventory Control Department with sorting of freeze-dried tissue and frozen tissue. (Jessup)
• Osteochondral Grafts - handling, checking, packing and shipping. (Edison only)
• Safety and hazardous waste/material handling
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Assists other departments with their shipping needs.
• Able to work in Master Control system to read and understand all job related SOP's.
• Works with Liquid Nitrogen (Edison only)
• Works in accordance with all ISO, AATB and FDA regulations.

MTF West

• Assist the Receiving Department whenever necessary.
• Assists with special projects

Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School Diploma/GED Years of Experience: 1 - 2 years Other: Work experience in warehouse Specialized Knowledge, Technical Skills, and Abilities: Insert a bulleted list of work experience and skills needed to perform the job; see guide for a list of sample skills and abilities. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Other - some college Years of Experience: 1 - 2 years Other: Shipping, receiving, or inventory experience Specialized Knowledge, Technical Skills, and Abilities: Proficient in Fed Ex Power Shipper program.
