Job Description
The Senior Compliance and Ethics Manager serves as the Compliance Lead, primarily supporting a leading pharmaceutical client within Deployment Solutions. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining a comprehensive risk-based monitoring program, with a strong focus on monitoring free-text data sources (e.g., email communications, CRM call notes, and Field Coaching Reports), conducting live field ride-alongs, and identifying emerging compliance risks.
As this primary client program grows, this role is expected to expand and may assume direct supervisory responsibility in support of increased monitoring and compliance needs.
While primarily supporting a designated program, the Senior Manager will also contribute to the continued advancement of Deployment Solutions’ compliance infrastructure, supporting consistency in documentation, training, monitoring, and governance practices across programs. This includes contributing insights, sharing effective monitoring strategies, and supporting best practice implementation.
The role collaborates cross-functionally with client stakeholders, internal operations, and EVERSANA Compliance leadership to promote ethical conduct, embed compliance into daily operations, and reinforce a culture of accountability across the Deployment Solutions business.
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:
- Drive Strategic Compliance Execution : Align compliance initiatives with broader business goals by partnering with project teams to shape and deliver solutions that meet client expectations and mitigate risk.
- Lead Free-Text Monitoring and RelativityOne Analytics : Serve as the subject matter expert for RelativityOne, EVERSANA’s AI-enabled compliance monitoring platform used to analyze free-text data sources such as email communications, CRM call notes, and field coaching reports. Leverage the platform’s analytics capabilities to detect emerging risks, identify behavioral trends, and generate actionable insights that inform compliance strategy and drive continuous improvement.
- Execute Compliance Monitoring Across Field Activities: Conduct live and virtual ride-alongs to observe HCP interactions, monitor training completion prior to field deployment, and support transparency oversight through review of spend data and exception reports. Escalate findings as appropriate and contribute to client-facing compliance reviews and reporting discussions.
- Drive Risk Resolution and Process Innovation: Identify root causes of compliance issues, implement sustainable solutions, and lead process enhancements that reduce risk exposure and strengthen operational integrity.
- Lead Compliance Reporting and Governance Cadence: Maintain a formal compliance reporting dashboard that consolidates monitoring outcomes, issue trends, training status, and escalation activity across all active programs. Prepare dashboards on a defined quarterly cadence to support Client governance processes, inform key decision-making forums, and drive accountability across field operations.
- Serve as a Trusted Compliance Partner : Act as a strategic advisor to clients and EVERSANA leadership on compliance matters. Influence decisions, address regulatory inquiries, and guide compliance strategies that reinforce trust and support long-term partnership.
- Track Compliance KPIs and Drive Insight: Establish and monitor internal compliance performance indicators to evaluate program effectiveness, identify trends, and support continuous improvement across field monitoring, training, and risk management activities.
- Deliver and Customize Client-Specific Compliance Training: Tailor and deliver live compliance training for new hires and backfills across Commercial and Medical field teams, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and client-specific policies. Develop Compliance Business Rules Documents (BRDs) to support training content and operational consistency.
- Maintain and Evolve Training Content: Refine training materials to reflect regulatory updates, emerging risk areas, and evolving client requirements, supporting both consistency and adaptability across programs.
- Lead Field Compliance Communications and Engagement: Implement structured, multi-channel strategies to promote field-facing compliance engagement and reinforce compliance expectations across deployed field teams. Provide guidance on compliance inquiries, deliver recurring field updates, facilitate leadership touchpoints, and launch and oversee a Compliance Champion program to strengthen peer accountability and support a speak-up culture.
- Support Compliance with State and Local Regulatory Mandates : Ensure field teams meet applicable state and local licensing and disclosure obligations. Provide oversight to confirm timely fulfillment, escalate issues, and maintain alignment with regulatory mandates.
- Support Compliance Policy and SOP Implementation : Contribute to the refinement and operationalization of Level 2 compliance policies, SOPs, and guidance documents. Assist in driving consistent interpretation, training, and execution across supported programs in alignment with legal, quality, and HR standards.
- Stay Abreast of Regulatory Developments and Support Compliance Adaptation : Maintain awareness of evolving regulations, industry codes, and enforcement trends. Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
