Machining company in Denver, PA is looking for CNC Lathe Operator on 1st shift. Working Mon-Thurs, optional overtime on Friday. Will pay depending on experience and has lots of opportunity for growth in pay and job duties!

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate one or more CNC lathes to produce parts according to specifications.
• Perform turning, facing, boring, threading, drilling, and related machining operations on a variety of materials.
• Read and interpret basic and complex drawings, sketches, and blueprints to determine machining requirements.
• Use precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gages, and scales, to measure to at least 0.001 inch and verify part dimensions.
• Follow all machine tool safety procedures and operate equipment in a safe manner with regard for the equipment and others in the area.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to produce parts on multiple machines simultaneously while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Experience performing basic maintenance tasks on CNC lathes and related equipment.
• Ability to train and mentor other operators in machining practices and safety.
• Experience in a machine shop environment working with CNC lathes and mills.
• Familiarity with CNC equipment.
• Experience machining graphite or similar materials is beneficial.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with manual machining operations are a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, PA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Denver,PA.
