P.J. DICK INCORPORATED
Pittsburgh, PA
Build What Matters. Lead With Purpose.

Maybe you're not actively looking for a new role but imagine joining a team where your expertise can shape some of the most important construction projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. At PJ Dick, we're growing, and we're looking for seasoned Commercial Construction Project Managers who want more than just another project: they want impact, leadership, and a voice in shaping our future.

Why PJ Dick?

  • We're not just another contractor-we're a family-owned company with deep Mid-Atlantic roots, consistently ranked among the Top 100 Builders nationally by Engineering News-Record.

What the Role Involves:

  • Provide overall management direction for an assigned project or project group and develop new business opportunities relative to a particular client or group of clients.
  • Work with executive management to plan, organize, and staff key field positions and establish project objectives, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy, including all project level administration and documentation.
  • Initiate and maintain relationships with prime clients and A/E contacts to facilitate construction activities.
  • Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget.
  • Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
  • Monitor compliance with company's safety program.

Who We Are Looking For:

Although technical skills and knowledge are essential, we are looking for critical, creative thinkers with inquiring minds. This role requires drive, determination, and a high level of self-discipline to ensure successful project execution. Our ideal candidate will love a fast-paced and dynamic work environment that focuses on technical problem solving, collaboration with a wide variety of team members, and structured work product. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a confident team player who develops trust across stakeholders, is a clear communicator and facilitator, and demonstrates a high degree of critical thinking skills.

Why You'll Love Working With Us

We often talk about how we are a "Family of Companies, and a Company of Families". Our team members work hard, share our successes, collaborate with our partners, and support our communities. We invite you to watch this short video, and join us in building the future of our region.
