Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Lead pharmacy operations as the designated Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) in a thriving facility located in Kennett Square, PA. This role offers a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity to manage critical pharmacy functions ensuring compliance, quality, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the legally designated PIC for all non-resident state pharmacy licenses, unless assigned otherwise.
• Act as the primary liaison for Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of operational changes, ownership transfers, facility modifications, and PIC transitions.
• Provide oversight of both sterile and non-sterile compounding operations.
• Lead quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
• Supervise pharmacists, compounding supervisors, technicians, and production staff.
• Manage daily batch record creation, execution, review, and approval.
• Support production scheduling to guarantee on-time delivery, maintain inventory accuracy, and assist with capacity planning.

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a PIC or Pharmacy Manager.
• Comprehensive knowledge of USP standards and relevant state and federal regulations governing 503A pharmacy operations.
• Proven experience leading audits and managing regulatory inspections with a focus on compliance and quality.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Flexibility to work Saturdays if needed
