O ur client, a global AmLaw 50 law firm , is seeking a highly qualified Tax Associate to join its Global Tax Practice Group , with a focus on supporting a sophisticated investment funds practice . This is an excellent opportunity to work with a top-ranked tax team known for delivering inventive, business-focused tax solutions on complex domestic and cross-border transactions. The practice advises on matters ranging from corporate transactions and restructurings to financial transactions, fund formation, and investment structuring for some of the most sophisticated clients worldwide.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record .
• Active Bar Admission in relevant jurisdiction , in good standing.
• 3-5 years of substantive experience in financial services or investment management matters .
• Experience in transactional tax work , with exposure to investment funds taxation preferred but not required
• Familiarity with U.S. and international tax issues affecting investment fund s, sponsors, and investors
• Prior law firm experience required; large law firm experience strongly preferred
• Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a detail-oriented and collaborative approach

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on tax aspects of investment fund formation, structuring, and ongoing operations
• Support complex transactional matters, including corporate transactions, restructurings, and financial transactions
• Provide practical tax guidance on U.S. and cross-border matters involving investment funds and related entities
• Collaborate closely with corporate, finance, and funds attorneys to deliver integrated, business-oriented solutions
• Assist in structuring transactions to address tax efficiency, compliance, and risk management considerations

• Competitive Salary: $260,000+ , commensurate with experience and class year.
