Job ID #28897Our client is a locally-owned engineering firm that has been experiencing tremendous growth in recent years- going from 100 to 150 employees in just the past few years. They offer extremely good benefits including excellent matching on retirement plans, growth and stability, bonus incentives and an opportunity to work with a great team of engineers on major construction/architecture projects.Due to major growth throughout the east coast, they currently need to hire an experienced Professional Engineer with Mechanical HVAC Design and project management skills. Main duties include:
- Leading HVAC/mechanical system projects for major construction and architectural build projects
- Using Revit to aid in the mechanical design of HVAC systems
- Work directly with clients to ensure projects are meeting deadlines, budgets and strict electrical codes/requirements
- Travel, occasionally, to monitor the construction of new build projects, or the expansion of existing sites. Travel will only be about 10-15%, will be regional and typically not overnight
- At least a BS degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (MS degree preferred)
- PE license required, or a close path to achieving one
- Strong Mechanical Design experience (Revit or AutoCAD)
- Excellent Project Management skills and the ability to work with customers daily
