Job Description

Midland Asphalt Materials Inc., a subsidiary of Barrett Industries Corporation, provides advanced pavement preservation solutions for our customers' needs. We are currently looking for experienced Class A tractor trailer TransportDrivers in Clearfield, PA. As this is a seasonal position we are looking to hire drivers to start in April/May of 2026.

Primary Duties

Haul asphalt based emulsion oil, mostly in Pennsylvania with some occasional out of state work.

Perform daily pre and post trip inspections of assigned vehicle. This requires climbing up, on and over unit to verify everything is in proper working order.

Experience & Qualifications

Must have a valid Class A CDLwith Tanker Endorsement; HazMat Endorsement preferred

Must have a good driving record

Minimum 2 Years Of Experience Preferred

Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Regularly required to climb in and out of vehicles and/or equipment

Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Regularly required to stand and walk across uneven terrain

Frequent exposure to loud noise

Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles, exposure to high temperatures

Regularly exposed to fuel, oil, and other chemicals

Occasional travel with overnight stays away from home may be required
