JOB DETAILS

Base pay rate starts at $29.00 per hour Shift: Full-time, Monday through Friday DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The driver will be expected to transport and deliver building materials to retail stores and construction job sites using a tractor-trailer. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top-notch customer service. This is a hands-on delivery driving position. Deliveries will generally be round trip, same-day routes, with possible overnight runs once or twice a month.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections thoroughly Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment Immediately report any necessary repairs and/or maintenance needed Actively ensure compliance with DOT guidelines Load and unload truck using a PiggybackMoffett Verify entire content loads prior to leaving manufacturing facility or job site Follow all safety procedures for transporting goods Occasional Weekend work Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License

2 years commercial truck driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable) 1 year of flatbed experience Clean driving record Willing to strap flatbed loads Operate trailer mounted forklift Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist. Multi-drop delivery experience a plus Ability to work independently or with a team Ability to plan and manage time efficiently Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions
