Job Title: Yard Labor with WEEKLY pay!

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Yard Laborer to join our team. This role requires working outdoors in all weather conditions, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. You will be responsible for inspecting and checking in vehicles, primarily those sent by insurance companies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a visual inspection of totaled vehicles, noting the condition of glass, body panels, and basic interior components such as the steering wheel, seats, and radio.
• Attempt to start vehicles and use a battery pack to jump-start them if necessary.
• Use a handheld device, similar to a tablet, to enter vehicle information.
• Work independently in the yard with minimal supervision, while having support available via handheld radio.

Essential Skills

• Basic knowledge of vehicle parts such as fenders, bumpers, hoods, and trunks.
• Experience using smart devices like smartphones or tablets.
• Basic computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• No formal training is required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to learn quickly as training is only three days.

Work Environment

This is an outdoor job conducted in the yard. Employees can take breaks and have lunch inside. During severe weather, additional breaks will be provided. Safety gear and gloves are supplied, but employees must provide their own clothing, including jeans and steel-toe footwear. The work environment is casual, with no large logos or offensive prints allowed. The office is open-spaced, clean, and located in the Aliquippa area industrial park.

This is a Contract position based out of Aliquippa, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
