What You'll Do as a Bookkeeper:

• Record bills, expenses, deposits, and internal transactions across multiple business units.
• Manage accounts payable, initiate payments, and maintain organized financial records.
• Reconcile checking and loan accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Import sales and inventory data from the online platform into QuickBooks Online.
• Prepare & send weekly and monthly financial reports to leadership.
• Coordinate with the outside CPA, including providing sales tax and year-end documentation.
• Support payroll processing by collecting hours, submitting payroll data, and recording accrual-based entries.

Our Ideal Bookkeeper:

• Experienced: 2+ years of bookkeeping experience required, including A/P, A/R, payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting. A basic understanding of accounting principles is required. Farm, production, or e-commerce experience helpful.
• Accurate: Detail-oriented and organized, maintaining clean records and reliable financial data across multiple entities.
• Trustworthy: Handles confidential financial and payroll information with discretion and integrity.
• Steady: Calm, dependable, and consistent in managing recurring financial responsibilities.
• Practical: Focused on accurate reporting, sound processes, and getting real results without unnecessary complexity.
• Collaborative: Communicates clearly, works well with others, and builds trust across the team.
• Tech-savvy: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online required. Familiarity with Shopify and Grazecart preferred.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience required
• Accounts Payable, Accounts Receiving, payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting experience
• Accounting principles knowledge is required
• Farm, production, or e-commerce experience helpful
• QuickBooks Online experience required
• Shopify
• Grazecart
