Overview:

The Cloud Architect will lead the design, integration, and governance of the network and cloud infrastructure. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the performance, security, scalability, and resilience of both on-premises and cloud environments. The architect will guide strategic technology initiatives, enforce network standards, and drive the transformation towards modern, cloud-based platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead major initiatives aligned with the Network Strategy to enhance maturity, improve security posture, and expand capabilities.

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure network architectures for both on-premises and cloud platforms.

• Provide architectural oversight for integrating new technologies and upgrading existing infrastructure with a focus on performance, automation, and security.

• Collaborate with IT and business leaders to translate business requirements into practical, secure network solutions.

• Serve as a lead reviewer and decision-maker within the Architecture Review Committee, ensuring alignment with technology and security standards.

• Promote automation and orchestration of network processes to drive efficiency and reduce operational risk.

• Champion the adoption of secure and resilient network design principles in support of the digital and cloud transformation goals.

• Support Agile/SAFE program planning and delivery, ensuring network projects are executed successfully and on time.

• Identify opportunities to optimize existing network investments and address evolving compliance and regulatory demands.

• Lead the development and execution of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies across network systems.

• Stay ahead of emerging network technologies and trends, bringing forward innovative solutions that align with the objectives.

• Represent network architecture in enterprise-wide discussions on information protection and infrastructure resilience.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise network architecture, design, and operations across diverse technical and business domains.

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

• Deep knowledge of network security practices, cryptographic protocols, and technology control frameworks.

• Proven experience designing and managing network infrastructure in both on-premises and cloud environments.

• Strong understanding of IT risk management, change management, and operational controls.

• Experience in developing and implementing network policies, procedures, and performance metrics.

• Proficiency in cloud networking, particularly within platforms such as AWS, Azure.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across teams.
