• Case Mix: General Neurology and Stroke Consults

• No. of Beds in Department: 596
• EMR System: Epic
• Office Equipment Available: Standard Neurology and stroke care equipment
• Specialty Backup Available: Comprehensive stroke facility resources
• Support Staff Available: APP support staff
• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Temporary Privileges Available: Yes (for clean files)
• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 90 days

• Neurological evaluations and consults
• Stroke assessments and management

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active PA license required
• Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
• DEA: Required (PA)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year Neurology experience
• Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Epic EMR
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide inpatient neurology and stroke consult services
• Manage patient care in a comprehensive stroke center
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
• Provide tele-neurology consults for offsite needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
