Job Title: Operations Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Operations Technician to join our expanding team in Harrisburg, PA. The selected candidate will work on both internal and external projects, assisting in the setup and configuration of hardware and software to ensure network functionality within manufacturing and office environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and configuration of required hardware and software to support network functionality.
• Work on server setups and provide basic support.
• Use VMware knowledge to contribute to projects.
• Perform basic hardware setup and configuration for networking purposes.
• Collaborate with the Help Desk team and be prepared to take calls outside of normal working hours occasionally.
• Engage in projects that may expand beyond the primary responsibilities.

Essential Skills

• Experience with server setup and support.
• Basic knowledge of VMware and its application in projects.
• Proficiency in basic hardware setup and configuration for networking.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or controls.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• AS/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in IT technical work.

Work Environment

The role primarily involves working in an office environment, with occasional travel to local client sites. There may be times when work is conducted on a manufacturing floor or in equipment closets.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisburg, PA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $24.04/hr.
