Job Summary:

Heberle & Chiaramonte Hospitality Group (HCHG) is hiring Dishwashers for an upcoming relaunch of a downtown Erie restaurant & bar concept. This role keeps the kitchen running by maintaining a steady flow of clean wares, a clean work environment, and strong sanitation standards. No experience required---willing to train dependable candidates.

Pay: $10.00--$15.00/hour (based on experience and responsibilities)

Schedule / Hours:

Part-time; evenings, weekends, and select late nights required. Typical range 15--30 hours/week based on business needs.

Work Location:

Downtown Erie (worksite address provided during screening). Interviews by appointment only.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate dish machine and/or 3-compartment sink to wash dishes, glassware, and utensils

• Wash pots/pans and kitchen tools; return clean items to proper storage locations

• Keep dish area clean and organized (floors, mats, drains, counters, trash/recycling)

• Maintain sanitation standards (proper chemical use, water temps, safe handling)

• Assist with BOH support tasks as needed (trash runs, restocking, basic cleaning)

• Complete opening/closing cleaning checklists and follow all safety procedures

Qualifications

• Experience welcome, not required

• Reliable attendance and ability to work at a fast pace

• Team-first attitude and willingness to follow direction

• Ability to work safely around wet floors, heat, and cleaning chemicals

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation)

• Stand for extended periods; frequent bending and lifting

• Lift up to approximately 50 lbs

Start Date / Hiring Timeline

Training begins by the last week of February ; applicants who can start by March 3-6 are strongly preferred.
