As a Software Engineering Manager Sr. within PNC's Business Technology & Innovation organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL, or Dallas, TX.

• Strong experience (5+ years) developing distributed systems utilizing various technologies.
• Experience managing a team of employees & contractors and providing direction to the team.
• Experience in Technical Product Ownership
• Manage to roadmap, maintain healthy backlog.
• Identify and refine technical features that increase the capability of the platform)
• Familiarity with Event Streaming (Kafka) Architecture
• Experience in Microservices driven development & delivery.
• Experience in delivering solutions following best coding & testing practices including supportability & maintainability built into the components developed and delivered.
• Experience in Java & Javascript (Springboot & Angular respectively) is required.
• Experience with Mongo database is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills is desired.

Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
