Certified Lead Teacher (PreK – 3rd Grade) – Kings Staffing

Role Overview

The Lead Teacher is responsible for:

• Daily instructional planning and classroom management
• Delivering developmentally appropriate lessons aligned to curriculum standards
• Supporting students’ emotional and social development
• Collaborating with school leadership and families to support student success

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging lessons that meet early childhood and elementary learning standards.
• Establish routines, expectations, and behavior norms that ensure a positive, respectful classroom environment.
• Differentiate instruction to support various learning styles and developmental levels.
• Conduct ongoing student assessments and track progress toward learning goals.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and needs.
• Collaborate with instructional assistants, special education support staff, and administrators.
• Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety procedures.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
• State Teaching Certification (PreK – 3rd Grade) required (or in process).
• Prior teaching experience in early childhood or early elementary settings preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills grounded in patience, empathy, and consistency.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Passion for supporting young learners academically, socially, and emotionally.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Monday – Friday | Full-time school schedule

Location:

Placement will occur at a partnering private school located in Chester Pennsylvania . Specific school details will be shared during the Screeing process.
