Truck Body & Accessories Installation Specialist
About the role
Join Reading Truck as a hands-on installer building purpose-built commercial vehicles. Reporting to a Shop Supervisor, you’ll assemble and integrate truck bodies and accessories that meet exacting specifications.
Primary responsibilities
- Install service utility, stake, and dump bodies on commercial chassis.
- Fit and fasten plows and a wide range of upfit components.
- Mount hitches, interior storage (shelves and drawers), ladder racks, mud flaps, and related hardware.
- Adhere to safety policies and all PPE requirements at all times.
- Work alongside and train with other mechanics when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.
Qualifications
- Mechanical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with hand/power tools; basic welding experience helpful.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and follow direction.
